As Jesus engages with people who continue to reject Him, we may ask: is Jesus is failing in His mission? How can we understand why some loved Christ, whilst others who saw and heard the same things rejected Him? Jesus declares God's sovereignty in salvation, and at the same time, openly invites all to come to Him.
